Noble Tony Bachman aka “TonyB” was nominated by the Bridges to the Futures Committee and appointed by Potentate Les Kruse to serve as the Outer Guard on the El Riad Shrine Divan. Tony is a devoted Shriner and active in many facets of the Shrine, as you will read below.

Tony was born in Fort Sill Oklahoma and raised in the Sioux Falls, SD area. He graduated from Brandon Valley High School, and later attended SDSU in Brookings, SD where he received a bachelors degree in commercial economics.  After college moved to Madison WI, then to St Louis Park MN then moved back to Sioux Falls in 1988 to work as sales manager for Overhead Door Co Sioux Falls for 14 years, then started Chili Pepper Printing helping people and businesses with their marketing.  Tony became a Realtor in 2008 and continues as Team Leader for Tony Bachman Group @ Keller Williams Realty helping people with their real estate needs.

Tony is married to Stacey, in which they share a charmed life with their extended family, two dogs, one horse, one donkey, 3 baby face sheep and live close to Sioux Falls along the Sioux river.  Tony loves spending time with family & friends, riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, using his chain saw, having bonfires and driving is 1956 Farmall M tractor around his acreage.

Tony’s journey into the fraternal life was prompted by his brother Tim “Bubbles” Bachman, who convinced Tony & their father Dennis Bachman to enter the Masonic Craft.  In 1999, Tony joined Trinity Lodge and soon after El Riad Shriners. He quickly joined the Classie Auto’s, since joining the Shrine has been or is currently member of Ski Unit, Outhouse Unit, Rickshaw Unit, Motor Corp Unit, and served as advertising contact for Cactus for a few years.  Tony has been part of the Sportsman’s Classic fundraising event ever since it started he was Co-Chairman with Past Potentate Denny Kaarp the first year of event and continues to serve on that committee, and has been part of membership committee for last few years. 

When people ask Tony “What does it mean to be a Shriner?” His reply is “it is being part of an amazing fraternal group of men and their families, I feel humbled to call Brothers & friends, who all have a common goal helping Shrine patients and making the world a better place”!
