Meet Parker Hanson: El Riad Shrine Fall Ceremonial Patient Testimonial 2021

Parker was born without his left hand and with that he grew up as a Shriners Hospitals for Children patient, starting treatment around the time he began kindergarten. Throughout his life, Parker relied heavily on his prosthetics from Shriners Hospitals for his athletic career and extracurricular activities. With the help of Shriners Hospitals, Parker was able to overcome his disability and sign to play professional baseball. During his baseball career, Parker made it a priority to use his platform to connect with kids with disabilities to show them anything is possible. Although his athletic career is now over, he has began his new journey of motivational speaking. He hopes to use his platform and story to help motivate and inspire anyone who may be facing obstacles of their own.
